In accordance with our vision to become the legal brand of choice, we’ve always been clear about our ambitious future plans and growth model. We’ve been in the vanguard of firms that have called for change within the legal market, leading to the Irwin Mitchell Group being granted alternative business structure (ABS) licenses by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. This has enabled us to move forward and set in motion our plans to expand the business, taking advantage of the opportunities brought about by the evolving legal landscape.
The Irwin Mitchell Group has grown significantly over the past few years, from a turnover of approximately £150m in 2010 to more than £200m in 2014. Since becoming the first multi-licensed ABS in 2012, we’ve completed a number of different acquisitions including private wealth specialists Berkeley Law and leading military lawyers MPH Solicitors. We’ve also opened new offices in Southampton and Cambridge, bringing our total to 11 regional UK offices.
We have a clear plan in place to build upon the impressive growth we’ve already delivered in recent years. The Group restructured a series of its operations in order to help this growth and make sure it’s achieved in a responsible, ethical and sustainable manner in keeping with our vision and values.
